Elite Biscuits NV was founded in 1982 as a family business. Since 1999 the company is part of PortionPack Europe. Since the take-over of Cocachoc in 2002, both companies forms the Belgium division of PortionPack Europe, PortionPack Belgium. Although the company name changed the brand Elite was kept for the commercialization of the products.
Throughout the years the company has profiled itself as a prominent supplier of individually wrapped biscuits for the Horeca (Hotel-Restaurant-Catering). Systematically the offer of assortments ands singles is changed always using the finest biscuits from Europe’s leading bakeries, of which Delacre is one of the most important. All the products are submitted to strong selection criteria to meet the highest hygiene and quality requirements. Thanks to these efforts PortionPack Belgium is already BRC- and IFS-certificated for several years.
During the year 2001 sugar, service products and salted snacks were added to the portfolio.
PortionPack Belgium is market leader in Belgium for what individually wrapped biscuits for the horeca are concerned. To accomplish this PortionPack Belgium has chosen to use the exclusive distribution channels of coffee roasters and wholesalers. The offer consists of individually wrapped biscuits under the Elite brand and under Private Label. The biscuits are also sold in e.g. the Netherlands, the U.K., Germany, Austria and Greece.
